The creators of the trailer left the audience with the suspense of what was going to happen to the women. You see her get hit and thrown around by this man, and towards the end it shows both of them in court but what happens. The trailer itself is effective because of the cliffhanger it leaves you on, but it isn't my type of movie so i wouldn't go see it.

The way the creators executed the trailer and the cliffhanger was the best part. But I think I saw enough in the trailer where I wouldn’t want to watch the movie.

The cliffhanger is the pulling factor of the trailer. People who are into suspense movies could not watch this and leave not knowing what happens!

I agree, but the cliffhanger isn't enough to make me watch the movie. It seems dull.

The creators for this movie trailer were trying to hook the audience of what was going to happen next to the convicted women as they were to be hung. The trailer is somewhat effective at bringing in audience members by leaving the suspense of what would happen next, but I think they could have executed it better.

I agree, the trailer does leave suspense but at the same time they do not give the audience a strong idea of what the film is going to entail.

The trailer said alot without saying much at all. It wasn't very eye-catching, I wouldn't watch it. They didn't show much action, they never even said that the women were witches in the trailer. All they did was show John who apparently cheated on his wife or something.

That is true, they waited until the end of the trailer to say she was on trial for witchcraft.

This trailer left the audience on a cliff hanger making you want to see the movie and find out more. The trailer shows lots of action and suspenseful scenes to make the audience want more. While the trailer could have been executed better it had enough suspense to make you want to watch the movie.

The trailer tried to draw the audiences attention by leaving a cliffhanger. It made you want to see what would happen to the lady convicted of witchcraft. They tried to add to suspense, drama and action to the trailer, but I think it failed because it wasn’t interesting enough to make people want to see the movie.

The trailer was very interesting, the creators showed you how eager Abigail was for John which made you wonder why, then once you find out John is married, whoa. They were effective I would actually watch this movie. One its history, I love history and it seems like a good story in general. It is honestly surprising to me how the Salem witch trails started of from young girls wanting attention.

The creators of the trailer left the audience to question and wonder why these women were being accused and what had left the town/community to become so disastrous and tense. Through the suspenseful music and the people yelling and chasing after one another persuades the audience to want to see the film as they want to know what comes next.

The creators of the trailer left the audience thinking. The trailer definitely hooked the audience by leaving them with the question of “what’s going to happen to the women?” The music also made the audience on edge by having hectic scenes and suspenseful music to go along with it.

The trailer did not give much character background and left a wide open ending to draw people in. It definitely makes me want to watch it. It also gives a look as to how women were treated in such a time which is very important.

This trailer left the audience with a open mind to what actually happened. The audience can interpret this high action and emotion picture in many ways. The music and voice over made it very suspenseful and attention drawing. Everyone was definitely left on a cliffhanger.

The creators of the trailer were effective by making the people watching want to know what happens next. The music and the raised voices made it very suspenseful. I feel like the lady will be hung or something. I personally wouldn't watch it but, i kind of want to know what happens to the lady.

The built suspense to the unknown threat of the movie, yet personally it wasn't very effective and i wouldn't see this movie. The trailer showed alot of the story but not enough to not leave the viewer in suspense. They did however show off their impressive cast. Wynona rider is in it. overall i do believe this trailer is effective to the casual audience but it has not aged well.

with the dramatic music it gave the audience a reason to watch it to see what will happen next in a way. the trailer creators wanted to leave the audience with more of a background then the suspense of the movie. they were effective in a way because it could grab an older audience i believe.

The film directors effectively capture the audience's attention and convince them to watch their movie using the product of suspense, coupled with an overbearing drama. In the trailer, we see people screaming, gathering around each other, and there is an overall hysteria; however, the trailer doesn't give us a clear answer as to what is causing the drama. The audience gets snips of the goings on but are not given enough to piece the whole story, encouraging us to watch the movie to figure out what could be causing such panic.

I agree, the trailer does really well to show the leading to hysteria but yet not enough for us to understand what caused it.

This trailer was full of suspense and action, but not too much as to where you could predict the ending. I think the creators of the trailer were successful because they showed enough conflict in a short time for watchers to crave knowing how it will end. I personally would watch the movie based off of the trailer because of how much action was displayed.

I think the directors did a good job building intensity throughout the trailer to keep audiences watching, showing the increasing drama and hysteria throughout the trailer as will be seen in the film, while still leaving the gap of what lead to this madness, and how it will end.

The creator of the movie trailer knew that by leaving us with a cliffhanger more people would be interested to watch the movie. They were able to do that by allowing us to question what would happen to the lady in court. I personally would watch the movie because I liked how it was suspenseful throughout most of the trailer.

I felt like the trailer was a bit drawn out but the creator of the trailer did do well for suspense. It holds that air of whats going to happen? But this doesn't really seem like a movie id really want to watch.
